Scenic Routes for a Road Trip Across Canada

I’m planning a road trip across Canada and feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the incredible landscapes to choose from. I’m eager to explore the Canadian Rockies and maybe even visit some national parks. My goal is to take it easy and really enjoy the scenery, but I want to ensure I pick the best routes so I don’t miss any hidden gems along the way.

Are there any specific drives or routes you’ve experienced that were particularly breathtaking? I’d love to hear about any must-see stops that should definitely be on my itinerary. Also, if anyone has tips on how to plan for a relaxed travel experience, please share your insights!

You’ve gotta check out the Icefields Parkway if you’re hitting the Rockies! It’s got insane views and is packed with scenic stops like Athabasca Falls and Bow Lake. Also, maybe camp at least one night—waking up surrounded by mountains is unforgettable. Any specific parks you’re thinking of visiting?

If you’re hitting the Rockies, definitely drive the Icefields Parkway between Jasper and Banff. The viewpoints are unbelievable, and there are tons of spots to pull over and soak it all in. Also, check out Yoho National Park along the way—Emerald Lake is stunning and less crowded!
