Tips for a Weekend Trip to Bolinas

Are you thinking about a weekend getaway to Bolinas? It’s a fantastic choice with its breathtaking coastal scenery and laid-back atmosphere. If it’s your first visit, planning might feel a bit daunting, especially when it comes to finding the best places to explore in a short time.

I can’t wait to wander through the charming neighborhoods and soak up the local history. Are there any must-see landmarks or secret spots you’d recommend? Also, what’s the accommodation scene like? Is it better to book ahead of time or can you find last-minute deals?

I’d love to hear your experiences in Bolinas! Were there any standout restaurants or activities that made your trip unforgettable?

Bolinas has some really cool hidden beaches like Agate Beach that feel super private. For food, check out the Coast Cafe; their breakfasts are amazing! I went without a reservation in the summer and found a place easily, but it could be a different story in peak season.

Definitely check out the Bolinas Lagoon for some awesome views! If you’re into hiking, the trails around there are super chill, and you get some great ocean sights. As for places to stay, I found booking ahead is usually safer, especially in summer—last minute can be tricky. Any favorite spots in mind for food?
