Tips for Capturing the Perfect Eiffel Tower Photos

I’m planning a trip to Paris and want to make sure I capture some amazing photos of the Eiffel Tower. It’s such an iconic landmark, but with so many different viewpoints, it can feel a bit overwhelming. I’ve been considering popular spots like Trocadéro and Champ de Mars, but I’m curious if there are any hidden gems that are less crowded.

Timing seems to play a big role as well. Is it better to shoot during sunrise or sunset for the most flattering light? I’m also interested in composition tips—any specific techniques that can help make those classic shots really stand out?

What are your favorite photography tips for the Eiffel Tower? Have you discovered any lesser-known locations that offer a unique perspective?

You might want to check out the Bir-Hakeim Bridge for a cool angle with the tower framed between the arches. It’s a lesser-known spot and usually way less crowded than Trocadéro. For lighting, sunset can really make the tower pop as it lights up, but sunrise is pretty magical too if you want fewer people around.

For something less crowded, try the Quai Branly riverside – the view’s great, and you can get some nice reflections in the Seine. I’ve shot there at sunrise, and the light hitting the tower is just incredible. Definitely experiment with leading lines too, like the pathways, to draw the eye right to the tower!
