If you’re planning a trip to Da Nang, the Marble Mountains are definitely a highlight you shouldn’t miss. However, understanding how to navigate this beautiful area can be a little tricky for first-timers. With its hidden caves and breathtaking viewpoints, it’s easy to get swept up in the scenery and lose track of the logistics.

I found the trails a bit confusing too, so I’d recommend downloading an offline map before you go. As for the best time, early mornings are way less crowded and you can catch the sunrise from the top, which is amazing. For food, check out some of the small streets nearby after your hike; there’s a great little place with cheap pho just a few minutes away.

When I went to the Marble Mountains, I found that early morning was the best time to avoid crowds. The views from the top at sunrise were totally worth it! For food, try the little spots in the nearby villages—there’s this awesome street vendor selling banh mi just a short walk from the entrance that I still think about.
