Top Photo Spots in Paris Off the Beaten Path

Capturing great travel photos in Paris can be tricky if you want to skip the usual tourist spots. Last summer, I wandered through some of the city’s lesser-known neighborhoods and discovered incredible locations that truly showcase Paris’s charm. For example, Rue Cremieux and the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont gardens provided vibrant backdrops that felt both authentic and unique.

While the Eiffel Tower is undoubtedly beautiful, I think the real magic of Paris lies in its streets and local cafes. If you’re on a budget, try taking a stroll in Montmartre at sunrise or enjoying a coffee in Le Marais. Those moments often lead to the best photos!

What are your go-to photo spots in Paris? Have you stumbled upon any hidden gems during your visits?

I totally get what you mean! Last time I was there, I found this cool little square in the 11th arrondissement called Place des Vosges. It’s super photogenic, plus the vibe is way more relaxed than the busy tourist spots. Also, definitely recommend checking out Canal Saint-Martin for those classic Parisian shots!

I love exploring the canal area around Canal Saint-Martin! There are these cute bridges and funky street art that make for great photos. Did you find any cool neighborhoods that aren’t mentioned much?
