Thinking about a trip to Egypt? It can be challenging to choose the right time to go, especially with those hot summer temperatures. Many travelers recommend visiting during the winter months for a more comfortable experience, but just how chilly does it actually get?
For those who have been, is late fall or early spring better for sightseeing and outdoor activities? I’m also curious about how the weather varies across different regions—like Cairo, Luxor, and the Red Sea. What have your experiences been, and do you have any tips to share?
I went in late fall, and it was perfect! Cool enough to walk around without sweating buckets. Cairo was a bit chilly at night, but Luxor was still comfy during the day. If you’re hitting the Red Sea, it’s always warm, so you could plan beach stuff then.
I think late fall can be really nice, but spring is also great if you can handle a bit of heat. Just keep in mind that evenings might be chilly in the fall, especially in the desert areas. I found Luxor to be hotter earlier in the year, while the Red Sea area tends to be more comfortable overall. What kind of activities are you hoping to do?
