What should I pack for summer concert trips?

Planning a concert trip is always exciting, but I find myself facing the same question: what should I really pack? With summer here and plenty of outdoor shows coming up, I’m trying to figure out how to bring the essentials without overdoing it.

For example, do I really need to bring an extra pair of shoes when my concert sneakers are already comfortable? And when it comes to clothes, should I prioritize comfort or style? I’m also a bit anxious about the unpredictable Vancouver weather— I definitely don’t want to be caught without a light jacket or a rain poncho.

What are your must-haves for a concert trip? How do you prepare for both the concert and the local culture afterward?

Definitely pack that light jacket! I went to a summer concert in Vancouver last year, and it rained out of nowhere. It was a bit of a bummer, but having a jacket saved me. And one trick I use is to bring a bandana—it works for wiping sweat, rain, or even a light scarf if it gets chilly. Just keep it light and easy!

I usually bring a small backpack with snacks and a water bottle because you’ll want to stay energized, but definitely pack a light jacket! Also, what’s your go-to concert outfit? I like to mix comfort with a bit of style, maybe a cool graphic tee with some comfy shorts.
