What travel planning apps do you recommend?

With so many travel planning tools out there, it can be tough to choose the right one. I’m getting ready for my upcoming trip to Portugal and really need something that can help me organize my itinerary efficiently. I like to fill my days with activities, so an app that highlights must-see attractions would be a big help.

I’ve experimented with a few options, but I haven’t found one that strikes the perfect balance between user-friendliness and useful features. Some apps feel cluttered, while others don’t have the mapping tools I need. For those of you who travel often, which icons or apps do you trust for effective planning? Do they assist with both itinerary organization and suggestions for fun activities?

I recently used TripIt for my last trip and really liked how it organized everything in one place. It pulls confirmations from your email, which is super handy. Plus, it has some cool options for activities and things to see. Might be worth checking out!

For Portugal, I found TripIt super helpful for organizing everything in one place, plus it links to your email for confirmation codes. Then, I usually pair it with Google Maps; you can save places and create lists. It makes it easy to map out your days and find cool spots to check out.
