Traveling by train across Europe is an amazing experience, but picking the right luggage can be tricky. You want something that’s lightweight yet spacious enough to hold all your photography gear, especially since train overhead compartments can be pretty limited.

I’ve found that soft-sided duffel bags work pretty well for train travel. They’re flexible enough to squeeze into tight spaces but still give decent protection for gear. Just make sure to get one with a good shoulder strap, so it’s easier to carry around the stations.

I’ve had good luck with the Osprey travel packs. They’re super lightweight and have great organization for gear, plus they fit in those overhead bins easily. You might also want to look for ones with padded compartments for your camera to keep it safe. Definitely try them on in-store if you can!
