Which movie studio tour in Los Angeles is worth it?

With so many movie studio tours in Los Angeles, choosing the right one can be a challenge. Universal Studios is popular for its exciting rides and glimpses behind the scenes, while the Warner Bros. studio tour offers a more personal look at iconic sets and props from beloved films.

For those who have taken these tours, what were the highlights for you? Were there any unexpected finds or special moments that made your visit memorable? Additionally, are there any lesser-known tours that deserve more attention? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

If you’re looking for something off the beaten path, the Paramount Pictures tour was surprisingly great! They take you through the history of film-making and you get to see some classic sets. Plus, it felt way less crowded than the bigger studios, so you really get to soak in the experience!

The Warner Bros. tour was my favorite! Getting to walk through the recreated Central Perk set from Friends was a total highlight. If you can, also check out the smaller studios like Paramount; their tours are less crowded and pretty cool too.
