Which Tenement Museum tour do you recommend?

With a trip to New York on the horizon, the Tenement Museum is high on my list of places to visit. I’ve heard wonderful things about it, but I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by the variety of tours available. The ‘Sweatshop Workers’ tour seems to get a lot of positive feedback, while the ‘Irish Outsiders’ experience is also frequently mentioned.

For those who have explored the museum, which tour was the most memorable for you? Were there any that you found disappointing or overhyped? I’d also love to hear any tips on making the most of the visit!

The ‘Sweatshop Workers’ tour is definitely worth it! Super eye-opening and they really dive into the history. Also, if you can, try to go when it’s less crowded; I found that made a big difference in how much you can absorb. Enjoy your trip!
